What is Dhantrayodashi Puja?

Dhantrayodashi Puja is one of the most auspicious occasions of all time. It is done to please Lord Kuber who is believed to be the God of Wealth in Hindu Mythology. Along with Lord Kuber, Goddess Lakshmi is also worshipped on the day of the Dhantrayodashi Puja.

Dhantrayodashi Puja is more popularly known as the Dhanteras, which marks the beginning of the festive season in India. It is usually on Trayodashi Tithi, Krishna Paksha in the month of Kartik, which is generally two days before Diwali.
